San Rafael Planning Commission Approved Sports Complex EIR

Great News!!  On Tuesday, January 24, the San Rafael Planning Commission voted 6-0 in favor of certifying the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for San Rafael Sports Complex. The Planning Commission’s unanimous support was the culmination of over 5 years of study and numerous hearings. The unanimous vote indicated the Planning Commission was satisfied that the FEIR correctly studied any potential environmental impacts of the project and that any potential impacts could be mitigated to be less than significant.

The San Rafael Sports Complex is one step closer to being approved, but the next public hearing is the most important San Rafael Planning Commission Meeting for project supporters to attend. The next public hearing is on the merits of the San Rafael Sports Complex where the project will be considered for approval by the San Rafael Planning Commission.
